Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information SurfaceMeasure collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service well.

1. Overview

SurfaceMeasure (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a tool for measuring flat outdoor surfaces from satellite imagery. This policy applies to information we collect through our website and application (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely in hashed form by our authentication provider).

Business profile. If you choose to add it, we store details you enter for your quotes — such as your company name, logo, phone number, and contact information — so they can appear on your exported PDFs.

Measurement data. We store the property addresses you search, the surfaces you trace, the square footage results, and any names or notes you attach to saved measurements.

Payment information. Paid subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number — Stripe processes payments and shares limited details with us (such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card) to manage your account.

Usage and device data. Like most websites, we automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

3. How We Use Information

We use information to: provide and operate the Service; create and secure your account; process payments and manage subscriptions; save and display your measurements and quotes; respond to support requests; understand and improve how the Service is used; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand usage. We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads. These providers may set their own cookies and receive information about your visits.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain advertising tracking through tools offered by Google and Meta. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Service works.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, including:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting; • Stripe — payment processing; • Google Maps Platform — maps and satellite imagery; • Vercel — application hosting; and • Google and Meta — analytics and advertising measurement.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and measurement data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting requirements.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can update much of your information from your account settings, or contact us at Caden@cjessopcompany.com to make a request. We will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored there or in other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to locations with different data-protection laws than your own.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
