How accurate is a measurement taken from satellite imagery?
Accuracy comes down to the trace, not the imagery — the imagery is already to scale. Zoom in, follow the edges of the surface, and the number is tight enough to bid flat work against. Contractors use it daily on driveways, patios, pool decks, walkways, paver areas and parking lots. Where a few square feet decides whether a job is profitable, trace it zoomed in and check the total against your own minimum.
Which trades is this actually for?
Anyone who bills by the square foot. Pressure washing, sealcoating and striping, concrete, paving, pavers and hardscape, deck building and staining, turf, fencing, lawn care, pool decks, and property maintenance companies bidding multi-building sites. If your estimate starts with an area and a rate, this replaces the drive and the tape measure.
Do I really not need to visit the property?

What surfaces can I measure?
The surface picker carries six modes — driveway, patio, sidewalk, deck, parking lot and pool deck — and any flat surface visible from above can be measured with the mode that fits it. Pool Deck mode handles deck-minus-pool jobs and anything else where one area has to come out of another. The rest is a single traced area.
Can I subtract pools, islands and planters from the area?
Yes, and it is the difference between a bid that holds and one you have to correct on site. Trace the pool, the curb island, the planter bed or the fire pit and it comes straight off the total the moment you close it. Drag any corner afterwards and the net follows, so you never price surface you will not be working on.
