Pick what you are bidding before you trace it: driveway, patio, sidewalk, deck, parking lot, pool deck or snow removal. The mode decides how the job is measured and priced. Pool deck gives you two shapes and a subtraction, snow removal prices per push, and every mode but pool deck can hold several sections that add up to one total, with cutouts for islands and buildings that come off it.
Switching between the single-area modes keeps the outline on screen. Switching into or out of Pool Deck starts the trace again, because that job needs two shapes.

Which properties can I look up?
Any address in the United States. The imagery is the same high-resolution satellite and aerial coverage that mapping services use, so a residential driveway in a subdivision and a forty-thousand-foot retail lot come up the same way. Rural properties are covered too, though imagery on the far edge of a service area is sometimes a season or two older.
How current is the imagery?
Most metro areas are refreshed every one to three years. That is fine for the surfaces contractors bid — driveways, lots, walkways and decks do not move. What it will not show is work completed in the last few months, so on a property you know has just been redone, check the date on site before you commit a price.
Do I need the exact address?
No. Start typing and the search suggests matches as you go, the same way any map search does. A street and a town is usually enough to land on the block, and you can pan and zoom from there if the pin is a house or two out.
Can I look up a property before the customer is a customer?
That is the point. You can pull the address up while the lead is still on the phone, so the conversation ends with a number instead of an appointment. Nothing is sent to the property owner.
